Quantum Solutions’ Fair Work Accreditation

Background

We’re thrilled to announce that Quantum Solutions has achieved our Fair Work Accreditation.

In collaboration with the Fair Work Ayrshire, we’ve focused on how we at Quantum can successfully support our staff by providing a fair and meaningful place to work – all of which are central to our values of innovation in the industry.

Fair Work in Scotland

Fair Work in the workplace means a lot of things to a lot of people, with criteria in Scotland focusing on:

  • no inappropriate use of zero hours contracts;
  • action to tackle the gender pay gap and create a more diverse and inclusive workplace;
  • payment of the real Living Wage;
  • offering flexible and family friendly working practices for all workers from day one of employment.

At Quantum Solutions, we’re dedicated to delivering on all of these and more.

Fair Work First Practices

The Fair Work Convention’s Framework defines Fair Work as work that offers effective voice, fulfilment, opportunity, respect and security (Scottish Government, 2023).

This means the practices we have in place following our Fair Work Accreditation are as follows:

  • Providing the Real Living Wage to all employees
  • Avoiding the use of zero-hours contracts
  • Promoting a balanced workforce
  • Investing in youth
  • Innovation
  • Workforce engagement
  • Internationalisation
  • Prompt payment

With these practices in place, we can continue to provide a positive, engaging workforce for our team to be a part of.

Background

At Quantum, we believe in the importance of each member of our team, and will continue to do all we can both now and in the future to support them.
